Bill Stutzman has engaged in classical Christian education for more than 20 years. He has taught multiple ages and stages, from 6th-grade homeroom at The Ambrose School (Boise, ID) to instructor of Humanities, Rhetoric, Orchestra, and even some Science and Math, both at Ambrose and at The Oaks Classical Christian Academy (Spokane, WA). He has also spoken and written nationally, developed curriculum, and overseen staff and students as an administrator at these schools and at Calvin Christian School (Escondido, CA) and Classical Christian Academy (Rathdrum, ID), where he was most recently Headmaster. Bill holds an M.A. in English Literature with undergraduate minors in Music and French, and he loves writing and performing music and poetry, reading, and learning as a lifelong pursuit. He and his lovely wife Cherise have three grown, classically educated children. He is thrilled to be partnering with schools at Concordis.
Gene has been works with Classical Christian schools to develop careful fundraising strategies and practices. His invaluable knowledge, years of experience, and campaign strategies produce needed funding for private Christian education.
Leah has a strong background in functional behavior assessment and has a heart for working with children who have suffered emotional trauma. She has also completed her foundations in biblical counseling through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Leah has redeemed her education to assist teachers, schools and parents with important tools for working with struggling children.
A professor at New Saint Andrews College, Tim understands pedagogy. His expertise in curriculum development and understanding how individual minds work is an invaluable asset to our team.
Jay teaches science in a way that should become the standard for Classical schools. Jay uses experiments as the "subject on the table" and then the various fields of study pour out of that subject. While he has an emphasis for the experiments (natural vs. physical sciences) he is teaching students how to learn on a specific experiment so that they can apply it to other areas of science.
Rusty brings both business experience and teaching experience to Concordis. He has homeschooled his children, taught in a classical setting, served as the headmaster at a school, and currently serves on the board of a classical, Christian school. Rusty also has a wide range of business experience including property development and management. We are especially grateful for the wisdom his counseling expertise and business experience bring the team.
Heather was teaching for years before she stepped into The Jubilee School where she and Heather Lloyd fleshed out a trivium based approach that served all types of learners. Heather's extensive classroom experience comes out in the training that she provides primary teachers.
